For Parents & Guardians: Chomp Critters is designed for players aged 0–12. By allowing your child to play this game, you agree to these Terms of Service on their behalf. Please read this document carefully and contact us with any questions.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Chomp Critters (the "Game"), developed and published by Jason Repac ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our"), available on Google Play (package: com.chompcritters.game) and through the Chomp Critters website at chompcritters.com.
By downloading, installing, or playing Chomp Critters, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are under 13 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not download or play the Game.
Chomp Critters is a free-to-play mobile arcade game for Android devices. Players choose an animal character and compete in a top-down arena by eating food items and smaller opponents to grow larger. The Game includes:
The Game is provided free of charge. There are no in-app purchases of real currency of any kind.
Chomp Critters is rated for players aged 0–12 and is designated as a child-directed app on Google Play. These Terms comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families Policy.
If you are a parent or guardian permitting a child under 13 to use the Game, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your child and you accept full responsibility for their use of the Game, including any charges or liability that may arise.
The Game does not require players to create an account or provide any personal information to play. All game progress is stored locally on the device. The optional Google Play Games leaderboard requires a Google account — children under 13 using this feature must use a supervised account set up via Google Family Link.
Chomp Critters contains only family-safe content. The Game does not include violence, adult themes, user-generated content, social features, chat, or any content inappropriate for children. All advertisements are configured for family-safe delivery only (see Section 7).
We encourage parents and guardians to use Google Play's parental controls and device screen-time tools to manage their child's gaming habits. Information on parental controls is available at support.google.com.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Jason Repac grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and play Chomp Critters on a compatible Android device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.
You may not:
Chomp Critters uses an in-game virtual currency called Coins. Coins are earned exclusively through gameplay — by defeating opponents, completing waves, and watching optional rewarded video advertisements. Coins cannot be purchased with real money.
The Game contains no in-app purchases of any kind. You will never be asked to spend real money to unlock content, progress in the game, or remove advertisements. All premium animals and skins are unlockable through regular gameplay.
In-game Coins and unlocked items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be transferred, exchanged for real currency, or redeemed outside the Game. We reserve the right to modify, adjust, or remove virtual currency or items at any time without compensation.
All game progress, including Coins and unlocked items, is stored locally on your device. If you uninstall the Game, reset your device, or change devices, your progress may be permanently lost. We are not responsible for any loss of in-game progress.
You agree to use the Game only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You agree not to:
Chomp Critters is a single-player game with no real-time multiplayer or user-generated content features, which significantly limits conduct-related risks. These rules apply to leaderboard participation and any communications with us.
The Game includes optional rewarded video advertisements powered by Google AdMob. Watching a rewarded ad is always voluntary — you are never required to view an ad to access gameplay, progress, or core content.
Because Chomp Critters targets children aged 0–12, AdMob is configured to serve family-safe, non-personalised advertisements only, in compliance with Google Play's Families Policy and COPPA. Interest-based or behavioural advertising is disabled.
While we configure AdMob to serve appropriate ads, the specific content of individual advertisements is determined and delivered by Google. If you encounter an advertisement that appears inappropriate for children, please report it to us immediately at [email protected].
Use of Google AdMob is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. For more information, see policies.google.com/privacy.
Chomp Critters and all of its content — including but not limited to the game engine, artwork, character designs, animations, music, sound effects, text, and code — are the exclusive property of Jason Repac and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. The licence granted in Section 4 is limited to playing the Game for personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
If you submit suggestions, bug reports, or other feedback about the Game, you grant us a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use that feedback to improve the Game without any obligation to you.
The Game is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the Game will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the Game or any feature at any time without notice.
We do not warrant that the Game will be compatible with all Android devices. Minimum system requirements are listed on the Google Play Store listing.
We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party services integrated into the Game (Google AdMob, Google Play Game Services). Use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jason Repac shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the Game, including but not limited to:
Because the Game is provided free of charge and contains no real-money transactions, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Game shall not exceed zero dollars (US$0.00).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
These Terms remain in effect while you use the Game. You may stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Game (including leaderboard features) at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Sections 8 (Intellectual Property), 9 (Disclaimers), 10 (Limitation of Liability), and 13 (Governing Law) survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Game, the law, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will:
Continued use of the Game after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, please uninstall the Game.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Game shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
If you are located outside the United States, you consent to the jurisdiction of United States courts for the purposes of any dispute arising under these Terms.
